
INDIANAPOLIS (October 30, 2025) – Lucas Oil is proud to announce that President Katie Lucas has been named one of the Indianapolis Business Journal’s 2025 Women of Influence, recognizing her exceptional leadership, service, and impact across Indiana’s business and philanthropic communities. The annual IBJ Women of Influence awards honor women who have demonstrated professional excellence, innovation and a commitment to community advancement.

Since stepping into the role of president in 2024, Lucas has continued to advance Lucas Oil’s mission of innovation, integrity and community impact, while reinforcing its reputation as one of America’s most trusted brands. Her focus on shaping long-term strategy blends operational excellence with heartfelt social responsibility and superior customer service.
An Indiana native and proud alumna of Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business, she helped guide Lucas Oil’s transition from California to its new headquarters in Indianapolis which consolidated operations, fostered collaboration and reaffirmed the company’s connection to the central Indiana economy and community.
Under her leadership, Lucas Oil has deepened its philanthropic footprint, earning the 2025 Culture of Good Community Impact Award in recognition of the company’s exceptional corporate citizenship. The company’s support spans causes from pediatric healthcare to food and housing insecurity, underpinned by a deep-rooted culture of service across every level of the organization.
Lucas also serves as Board Chair of the Ascension St. Vincent Foundation, Board Trustee at the Indianapolis Zoo, and a member of the National Leadership Council at the National Medal of Honor Museum Foundation. She also serves on the Indiana University Women’s Philanthropy Leadership Council and the Board of the Grit & Grace Nation Foundation. Additionally, the newly opened Lucas Family Brain and Spine Hospital at Ascension St. VIncent was named in appreciation of the generosity and long-standing support of the Lucas family.
