With the 2010 Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series season winding down, some are already looking to the 2011 season and the many exciting prospects that it has in store. Among these is a terrific television package brought on by CBS, which should keep fans glued to their screens in the coming year. 2011 will see Lucas Oil Motorsports featured in no less than 11 hours of programming during the well-known CBS Sports Spectacular, with a large portion of this airtime being dedicated to the Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series.

Multi-time Champion Bill Leischner, driver of the Rockstar Energy Super Modified Tractor “DirtSlinger”, brought 30 years of experience to the table this season. “This year we won a lot of races and I’ll tell you what, it had a lot to do with Rockstar coming on board with my program.” Leischner reported before his last pull. “The support we have received from Rockstar this year has been the most positive factor in all my years of racing. The whole team is charged up and you can just feel the energy. Everyone is going the extra mile to do their part. I think we are ready to win this championship for Rockstar.”

Known to fans near and far as one of the raciest speed-plants in Ohio, Portsmouth Raceway Park has become a fixture on the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series National Tour. The event originally scheduled as a one-day $10,000 to win 50 lap race, will now become the two-day Pepsi 75, paying $20,000 to win for the 75 lap main event.
