Directions For Use

  • 12 fl oz (354 mL) bottle - Add entire contents of bottle to motor oil anytime between oil changes.
*Results may vary. Motor Oil Extender has been shown to extend oil life without affecting performance in otherwise healthy cars for up to 3,000 miles. When extending an oil change interval, use an oil filter that is rated by the filter manufacturer for the intended service interval and replace the filter as recommended by the filter manufacturer. Do not overlook signs of engine wear or damage. Seek prompt service if your vehicle engine shows signs of wear or damage. Review all terms and conditions of warranty before amending oil change schedule. Extending oil changes may void certain vehicle warranties. Lucas hi-mileage stabilizer IMMEDIATELY quieted engine

2003 F150 5.4L Triton 3-valve. Timing chain, guides and cover had disintegrated at about 280,000 and constant oil leakage. Put new chain, guides, oil strainer, pick-up tube etc and drove to 345,000 using 20w50 and losing about 2 quarts a month. Noisy upon start-up which I understand is typical for these Tritons plus lifters made constant noise. Was about to install a new/used motor when I figured what the heck try a bottle of Lucas hi-mileage stabilizer. IMMEDIATELY quieted engine and after adding another bottle a week later, engine is running QUIETLY!!! leaks less too. Have installed new coil packs and I think this 5.4 might just make it to 500,000!! I also added 1qt to the tranny...shifts smoother.
