As you know, TOGETHER is our word of the year and we want to call out two great examples!

Last week in Corydon, our Fuel Treatment line was trying to set a record on a fairly new machine. It started slowing down and eventually stopped working altogether. Instead of frustrations rising or blaming one another, the entire team came together: line workers, supervisors, and maintenance! They all worked TOGETHER to solve the problem, and they were able to get the machine up and running quickly and were still able to break a record! 131,000 bottles were filled and packaged in one day! Congrats, team!!

With our culture of giving back, we are dedicated to doing the right thing, the right way, for the right reason - all to improve the lives of our people, our customers and those in our community. The past two weeks have been a prime example of that. After the horrific damage caused by Hurricanes Helene and Milton, our team once again came TOGETHER to provide relief. We are supplying truckloads of products to organizations involved in relief work and to our customers directly affected by the storms. Contributions include oils, lubricants as well as large totes to hold water for areas that may be without water for several months. We are so grateful for your care and concern for your neighbors in need. Thank you for living out our values!

On October 2nd, the Corydon Team opened their doors to 140 students from four local High Schools for Manufacturing Day, offering them a behind-the-scenes look at our impressive operation. Students spent the day touring the facility, observing the production process, engaging and interacting with our incredible team, and listening to keynote speakers share their career journey. This was a tremendous opportunity for Lucas Oil to inspire the next generation of manufacturers and innovators!

The 2024 MLRA season kicked off with a vibrant mix of excitement and challenges. Thirty events were scheduled, but unfortunately, Mother Nature had other plans, resulting in the cancellation of ten races due to weather. This season also brought a profound loss to the MLRA family. Lloyd Collins, the beloved official photographer for many years, lost his battle with cancer at the season's start. His dedication to capturing the spirit of the events and ensuring everything was in its rightful place will be deeply missed. His presence is still felt, though the familiar “gunshot” ringtone is sorely missed.

Despite the rocky beginning, this season has featured thrilling points battles. With six events remaining, the Championship is still wide open, as the top two contenders are separated by just 100 points. Meanwhile, drivers currently sitting 7th through 10th are engaged in their own heated competition, with only 75 points separating them after 12 rounds. Although the season started slowly, plans are in place for a strong finish. All employees and fans who haven’t yet attended or watched an MLRA event are encouraged to join and support the series. A night to remember is guaranteed! For those unable to attend in person, all events are available for viewing on Flo Racing.

Excitement is building for what 2025 will bring to the series. A heartfelt thank you goes out to everyone who contributes to making the MLRA "The Longest Running Regional Late Models Dirt Series." God bless, and see you at the races!

Colts Playground Build: A Day of Service and Fun!
Lucas Oil came together with over 100 volunteers from the Indianapolis Colts and local partners to create a vibrant new playground for the students at Ernie Pyle School 90. This initiative not only enhances the school’s recreational space but also fosters stronger community connections. It was inspiring to see our employees collaborating with Colts players and community members, all dedicated to crafting a safe and joyful environment where children can play and learn. A heartfelt thank you to everyone who participated—your hard work and enthusiasm have made a lasting impact!

Junior Achievement’s Job Spark: Igniting Future Careers
Our marketing team had a fantastic time hosting an activation at Junior Achievement of Central Indiana’s Job Spark event, a hands-on career expo for 8th graders. This initiative aims to inspire students by introducing them to diverse career paths through engaging activities and real-world experiences. Our focus on manufacturing allowed us to teach students the importance of teamwork and the process of creating exceptional products. It was truly rewarding to see their excitement as they explored future possibilities and learned how they can contribute to a better world.

NXG Youth Motorsports Season Finale
The NXG Youth Motorsports program celebrated its highly anticipated season finale at the iconic Indianapolis Motor Speedway on Saturday, September 28th! It was a day filled with excitement, achievement, and community as participants, families, and partners gathered to honor a season of hard work and growth.

NXG Youth Motorsports offers unique experiential learning programs that use go-kart driving as a powerful tool for developing essential life skills. This innovative approach not only introduces young participants to the fundamentals of racing but also instills important values such as discipline, focus, teamwork, and perseverance.

We look forward to continuing this journey and driving future achievements in the seasons ahead!
