As summer is coming to a close, we wanted to share progress of our 1-year plan, celebrate our victories and look toward a successful end of 2024.

Our sales team continues to close new business and with the official opening of our beautiful new Grease Plant, we are on track to meet our sales goals for the year! Our Product Development, R&D and Marketing Teams are continuing to refine our offerings and have a robust pipeline of new products that will be released soon. Our newest product, Emissions Clear is currently being sold and will be on shelves soon.

At the beginning of the year, we committed to improving processes and a truly spectacular example of that hard work is our claims and compliance department. Fines and penalties have greatly decreased and fill rates and compliance have increased which all leads to a fantastic customer experience. This is a true team effort with manufacturing, shipping and compliance all working together.

Another great example of elevating the way we do business is within our Accounting Team. The department was rebuilt and reorganized, and they have found ways to operate more efficiently and are always eager to learn and continue growing.

We say this quite often and we will continue to repeat it - We have an incredible team! We are proud to work alongside those that share our same values: Trust, Service, Teamwork, Courage and Passion. We firmly know who we are: a family-led, American manufactured, community focused company. God willing, we will continue to grow and expand our impact, but we will never waiver from who we are. MAVTV heads into August with some exciting updates to share across the breadth of our business.

Mid-month we will launch MAVTV GO, our new video streaming app! Powered by Endeavor Streaming (the technical provider for apps from the WNBA, WWE, UEFA, and UFC among others), MAVTV GO offers motorsport fans and auto enthusiasts an unparalleled streaming experience, boasting daily additions from our extensive library of racing, build & enthusiast, news & information and original series content available for unlimited VOD viewing.

Available on iOS, Android, and major connected TV platforms (Samsung, Roku, Amazon FireTV, Apple TV and more), access to MAVTVGO is free and will also provide a selection of live racing from some of our most popular partners. Registered users of MAVTV GO will be able to optimize and personalize watchlists and recommendations, as well as access “continue watching” functionality.

MAVTV GO lands just in time for our exclusive live coverage of the 2024 Polaris Crandon World Championships on Labor Day weekend. This is a history-making moment for the off-road community as our collaboration with Crandon represents the largest broadcast package ever for off-road racing!

Fans will enjoy three days of the world’s most thrilling action from the Polaris Crandon World Championships and 9th Red Bull Crandon World Cup, including a live Preview Show from the Lucas Oil Crandon Labor Day Parade on Friday August 30th, and 15 hours of race coverage over the next three days. This broadcast marks another milestone moment for MAVTV, the return of Toyota to the network, as this year’s presenting sponsor of the broadcast.

We’ll maximize our audience for Crandon by offering selected races across our cable channel, MAVTV Select (our FAST/FREE TV channel) and MAVTV GO.

The Quiet Giant: 2 Cycle Oil!

Lucas Semi Synthetic 2-Cycle Oil, specifically in the 2.6 oz size, has quietly risen to fame in the Convenience Store (C-Store) retail space. In the past few years, it has become our Number 1 product in the C- Store category. This item was introduced in 2012 and since then it has had steady growth, but in the past 4 years this product has really taken flight – almost tripling in sales from 2012!  This year, we have already produced approximately 7,000 more cases compared to last year at this time.

This comes as no surprise based on this item's growth and level of customer satisfaction. The 2.6 oz size is easy to use and surpasses the competition in its ability to reduce the normal smoke that is typically experienced with a 2-cycle oil. The customer service team receives calls all the time about how consumers like the reduction in smoke over other brands.  

This product is ideal for a wide range of air-cooled 2-cycle lawn equipment, such as weed eaters, leaf blowers, edgers, hedge trimmers, and more. Simply pour the 2.6 oz bottle into 1 gallon of gasoline to achieve the popular 50:1 mix ratio recommended by most equipment manufacturers. It contains the correct JASO oil specification for this type of equipment and is also smokeless.

The Happiness Lab Podcast is hosted by Dr. Laurie Santos, a professor whose course on happiness was the most popular in Yale’s history. The podcast dives into scientific research on happiness and focuses on ways to improve mental health. Some common assumptions about what makes people happy are not necessarily true. Give it a listen if you are looking for something that is lighthearted and you like to learn about the research on how our brains work. The episodes are 40-60 minutes long.

If you’d like something a little shorter, check out The Science of Happiness podcast. This podcast ranges from 10-25 minutes and provides strategies to lead a happier life. In each episode the guest tries a strategy provided by the host, Dacher Keltner, and documents their journey.
