Our team in Corydon recently participated in a community event for Metro United Way making 400 hygiene packs for nonprofit organizations in Clark, Floyd and Harrison counties. Your involvement exemplifies our values extending far beyond the realm of business, and we could not be more proud of our team.

Looking ahead, our Indianapolis, Brownsburg and Estate offices are gearing up for another fantastic opportunity to give back to the community. We will be participating in an event aimed at combating food insecurities in collaboration with Gleaners Food Bank. Together, we are actively contributing to the broader welfare of our communities.

The month of May is here and we are eagerly anticipating some of the largest events of the year! The upcoming Academy of Country Music Awards in Dallas, TX, happens mid-may and our newly opened Lucas Oil Live has received a nomination for best Casino Theater! The Indy 500 is upon us with the largest IndyCar racing experience at the iconic Indianapolis Motor Speedway. This cherished tradition is more than just a sporting event; it's a celebration of speed, skill, and spectacle that unites fans from around the world. We can already feel the energy building as engines roar to life and the checkered flag waves. Whether you're a die-hard racing fan or simply appreciate the excitement of the event, May in Indiana promises thrills, memories, and the timeless allure of one of motorsport's greatest events.

We've been building an in-house Grease Manufacturing Plant in Corydon - an investment that will enable us to better control our own destiny with our Grease line of products.

When this news was announced, and a loose timeline was shared with our customers last year, the response was very positive! The Sales Team will tell you their phones have been ringing from customers asking when we’ll be shipping this new in-house Grease.

The Greasy News is we are close! We are now producing our very first in-house run of our world-famous Red N Tacky Grease! Soon we will package it into the most sought-after size our customers have been waiting for! This will be an extremely exciting day for our customers when they finally see orders shipping in full for this item. We are fortunate enough to have such great customers that continue to be loyal to our brand even over the past few years of being unable to fill many orders for this item.

All of this would not be possible without our dedicated, talented team focused on the goal of building a World Class Grease Manufacturing Plant in Corydon to meet our customers' needs. We believe this investment will keep us at the top of the leaderboard as the # 1 branded grease in the retail market!

The 2024 racing season at Lucas Oil Speedway commenced early April with a newly refurbished track surface eagerly awaiting the drivers. During the offseason, the track was infused with 450 loads of fresh clay dirt. The two preseason Test and Tune sessions yielded promising results, showcasing a smooth track that effectively retains moisture.

Another big season of action is underway for the Weekly Racing Series and special events including the 32nd Annual Show-Me 100 Presented by Missouri Division of Tourism (May 23-25), the first appearance by the High Limit Sprint Series co-owned by Brad Sweet and Kyle Larson (June 28-29), the 11th annual Lucas Oil MLRA Late Model Spring Nationals (April 12-13), 10th annual Lucas Oil MLRA Ron Jenkins Memorial (Aug. 31), and MLRA Fall Nationals (Oct. 4-5).

Children are a top priority at Lucas Oil Speedway, where Flagman Mike Striegel takes the lead in guiding the RCR Designs Jr. Fan Club Pit Tour every week. This tour is specially designed for youngsters aged 5-12, offering them the opportunity to explore the pits and meet drivers. Also returning in 2024 is the popular Kids Power Wheel Races with a 24V-36V class. The races will be held during intermission on April 20, May 11, June 8, July 27 and August 24. The annual Kids Bicycle Giveaway is set for July 4th during the Casey’s Thursday Night Thunder program.

Next door to the dirt track, three Kentucky Drag Boat Association-sanctioned events will be held on Lake Lucas: KDBA Summer Thunder on Lake Lucas (June 8-9), the KDBA Show-Me Summer Shootout (Aug. 2-3) and the 14th annual Diamond Drag Boat Nationals (Aug. 30-Sept. 1).
