High Ground will keep us focused on always doing our best at the highest level we can achieve, and to always do the right thing, the right way, for the right reason!

We want to take this opportunity to celebrate the success of 2023 and look ahead to a fantastic 2024!

2023 was a year of re-building, teamwork and growth. It took the entire team working together to ensure a seamless transition and we could not be more proud of what you all accomplished. 

As impressive as this past year was, we have even higher expectations for 2024! We recently shared with you all our strategic vision and truly cannot wait to see what we can do together when we are all aligned and working toward the same goals.

Here are a few highlights of what you can expect to see in 2024:

• The grease plant will be up and running soon with plans for the product to be in stores by Q2. This new state of the art grease facility will help us control our destiny while allowing for tremendous growth in both retail and bulk markets.
• MAVTV is expanding its distribution and will be airing new and original content throughout the year! A brand new MAVTV app is in the works and a new website will be launching soon.
• The Indianapolis and Brownsburg offices will be moving into new Headquarters, October 2024. Renovations are underway and we will continue to update you on the progress. We cannot wait for you all to see the new space – specifically designed for greater collaboration and teamwork!
• Together, we will continue to make a tremendous impact in our communities. We will serve our neighbors in need and seek ways to help those around us.

In the beginning there were FOUR. "Four what?" you ask. Four Core Products! The foundation of this fantastic organization revolves around the Four Core Products and their ability to do what they say they will do for the user. In the coming months, we will embark on a journey to enlighten you all on many of the fantastic products we manufacture, helping you build your product knowledge and giving you tips and tricks for their use. We will also spotlight many of the great customers that sell and use our products, sharing their success stories from in the field. Thanks to many groups of dedicated teams here at Lucas Oil we are and hope to remain at the top of the leader board in our category of Automotive Performance Chemicals.

Now onto the stars of our product lineup, the Four Core Products: Heavy Duty Engine Oil Stabilizer, Upper Cylinder Lubricant, Power Steering Stop Leak, and Transmission Fix. These four products are the genius of the one and only Forrest Lucas. His desire to solve some of the reoccurring problems in his truck fleet led him on the quest to make his own products to solve those problems. Heavy duty engine oil stabilizer is the crown jewel of any engine oil additive on the market. This proprietary formula was developed to reduce wear on engine parts, reduce friction on the internal components of any engine, help prevent dry start conditions, help slow engine oil consumption and reduce emissions, and coat all moving parts much better than engine oil alone. Many of us know this product as sticky and tacky, and it is like no other!

Upper Cylinder Lubricant is one of the top selling fuel system additives in the world because it is so simple to use and IT WORKS. Dump it in and go for a drive and Upper Cylinder Lubricant is working to lubricate all internal parts of the fuel system like the fuel pump, the fuel lines, and the fuel injectors. The ability of Upper Cylinder Lubricant to help keep the fuel injectors in tip top shape is helping to improve fuel efficiency which is something we are all interested in!

Power Steering Stop Leak was a game changer when it was created. The power steering system is one of the forgotten systems on the vehicle and can be prone to experiencing leaks. The repair cost on a power steering system can be very costly and cause downtime during the repair. Lucas Power Steering Stop Leak is one of our most popular products for consumers to call in and tell us how it saved them money and time by correcting the leak in their power steering system. Lucas Power Steering Stop Leak is designed to help rejuvenate seals in the system that have become hard and brittle over time allowing the fluid to leak out of the system. Our product is formulated correctly with a solvent free formula to do this work. It also helps to add some viscosity (thickness) to the power steering fluid to slow and eventually stop the leak!

Last but not least is Transmission Fix. This excellent product was designed to help anyone who may be experiencing a slipping or leaking issue in another extremely expensive component the Automatic Transmission. This, like the power steering system, is sometimes forgotten about and the fluid in an automatic transmission takes a beating during use. If the fluid is not changed on a regular interval, problems can occur. One of the most troublesome problems is a slipping transmission. Transmission Fix is designed to help solve that issue by rejuvenating the fluid and removing varnish that has built up on the bands and clutches, helping to clean and lubricate any sticking valves in the valve body. All of this is done again with a solvent free formula.

This is just an introduction to our fantastic product line, and we are excited to share with each of you more details about these and many more of our products in the months to come.

None of what we do here at Lucas Oil would have been possible over the years without these four products. It is a splendid example of how, when we are relentless in the pursuit of customer satisfaction, many things are possible. The Lucas Family created products that do what they say they will do, and our customers love that!

The inception of Lucas Oil Fabrication began on an idea of building an in-house racing chassis for Morgan Lucas Racing only with a few basic machines and minimal equipment. With no initial intention of evolving into a fully operational fabrication and job shop, the demand for a local fabrication and race car builder became quickly evident, and in the words of Forrest Lucas, “Let’s see where this goes….”. Over a decade later, the fab shop has grown to a crew of talented fabricators, welders, designers, and machinists with unlimited capabilities.

LOF’s experienced team have a versatile skillset and are equipped with a wide range of equipment, enabling them to handle a variety of materials and projects. Projects commonly include steel, chromoly, aluminum, stainless steel, titanium, plastics, synthetics, and occasional super alloys such as Inconel. The fab shop is equipped to form, cut, weld, machine, and design, allowing them to provide the highest quality products in the industry, that meet the needs of our customers.

The crew at Lucas Oil Fabrication pride themselves on what has been considered top tier products in the racing industry, building over 25 Top Fuel Dragsters that have collectively won over sixty races and four championships in recent years. In the fall of 2023, one of the Lucas built dragsters piloted by Mike Salinas became the first car to reach 300 mph from 0 to 1/8 of a mile. They also stay busy building some of the most competitive cars and components for drag racing, sprint cars, rally and road racing, and more recently, the aftermarket exotic car industry by producing components for Graham Rahal Performance.

In addition to racing, they also manufacture fleet parts for local trucking company and loyal Lucas Oil customer TMC. Other notable projects include display, marketing, and production equipment for Lucas Oil and MAVTV, custom rollcages, business signage, custom exhaust and headers, projects at Lucas Oil Stadium, environmental material handling components, and various other parts and components spanning the manufacturing spectrum.

More recently, the crew at LOF was commissioned to build the frames and I.V. poles for the Honda Shogo Project. The Shogo is an electric scale racecar for children to navigate hospitals during time of treatment. The Shogo was designed to make moving around medical facilities a more pleasant experience for children, as these types of settings can be overwhelming to the younger generations. In typical Lucas family fashion, the team jumped at the opportunity to be a part of such an amazing project, and to help put smiles on faces of those children and bring a little joy to their “get well” journey.

In the coming year, the team plans to expand it’s spectrum by working with other motorsports sectors, continue the effort to grow the industrial side of manufacturing, and is experimenting with 3D printing as a continually evolving manufacturing process. The amazingly talented team at Lucas Oil Fabrication has the endless potential and dedication to bring ideas and visions to reality.

On the heels of a big year for Lucas Oil marketing - the redesign and launch of LucasOil.com, refreshed marketing collateral, elevated brand ambassador program and new partnerships that reach wider and more diverse audiences – we are proud to share that we aren’t slowing down in 2024. Launched in December 2023, the new Lucas Oil Amazon store has been updated with vibrant images and brand colors, optimized product descriptions, more assets per product, and infographics for a better online shopping experience.

Lucas Oil + Kyle Busch: A Winning Combination
We’re excited to share that we will be sponsoring NASCAR champion Kyle Busch again in 2024. "Rowdy's" No. 8 Chevrolet will tear around the track in full Lucas Oil branding in three races this season. We’re bringing back the iconic blue car wrap from his win in Fontana last year. Mark your calendars and cheer him on!

Linsey Read Takes the Wheel of the Lucas Stabilizer
The Lucas Stabilizer is gearing up for another fantastic year, this time with Monster Jam veteran driver Linsey Read behind the wheel. Her adventurous spirit and impressive track record - winning the 2019 Monster Jam World Finals XX Showdown and Freestyle Competitions - make her an ideal driver for the Lucas Stabilizer. While we’ll miss watching Cynthia Gauthier, who’s taking a break to embark on motherhood, she continues to be an integral part of our Lucas Oil brand ambassador team. She’s a multi-discipline driver, mechanic, racer, auto enthusiast, soon-to-be new mom, and a genuine fan of the brand who will continue to share her Lucas Story with fans on social media. Stay tuned for some ground-shaking performances from Linsey and our unstoppable Lucas Stabilizer this year!
