A message from
Morgan & Katie

Morgan and Katie

Lucas Team,

This month, we want to use this opportunity to talk about one of our family's personal values, unity, and how it can be applied to all of us at Lucas Oil.

Unity is essential in any team, especially in a work environment where individuals with diverse backgrounds and ideas come together. Unity is not based on uniformity, but rather on the shared belief in the mission. The goal is not for everyone to think the same way but to work together toward a common purpose. In the workplace, this means valuing the differences each team member brings while uniting under the Lucas Oil banner.

Achieving unity doesn’t happen by chance. It takes conscious effort, intentional communication, and a willingness to compromise. Unity also requires humility—understanding that we do not always have the right answers, but we trust that together, we can achieve more than we could alone. It’s easy to let differences become points of division, but when we focus on shared values and goals, we can find strength in diversity.

When team members are committed to understanding one another and working together despite differences, it fosters an environment where productivity and harmony thrive. This does not mean that conflict will never arise, but it does mean that the conflict will be handled with grace and respect. Every team member’s voice matters, and each person’s contributions are valuable. Unity is a testimony of people putting their differences aside and working together for a common good.

With Gratitude,
Katie and Morgan

Hybrid

We've reached an exciting milestone at Lucas Oil Products — the launch of two new products: Hybrid Oil Treatment and Hybrid Fuel Treatment. These products represent a significant step forward in our ongoing commitment to delivering premium-quality solutions to the entire automotive aftermarket.

As hybrid vehicles continue to grow in popularity and availability, we recognized the need to create products specifically engineered to meet the unique demands of hybrid engines and fuel systems. These new treatments are designed to help hybrid vehicle owners address common challenges and maintain peak performance.

This launch is a direct result of outstanding cross-departmental collaboration. From concept to execution, it took a dedicated team effort to bring these products to market. A big thank you and congratulations to everyone involved — great work!

Now a small peek at the product itself!

  1. Hybrid Oil Treatment with Hybrid Shield Technology was developed to specifically help the hybrid engine by:
    • Preventing engine stop-start wear by delivering fast acting anti wear additives
    • Reducing engine oil sludge caused from fuel and moisture contamination
    • Reducing friction helping to improve MPG
    • Helping to maintain better engine oil viscosity for the longer oil change intervals
  2. Hybrid Fuel Treatment with Hybrid Shield Technology was developed to specifically help the Hybrid fuel system by:
    • Preventing corrosion by eliminating water in the fuel that may be in the tank longer
    • Increasing MPG by adding potent detergents and lubricity additives for cleanliness and lubrication
    • Helping provide measurable gains of over 30% reduction in friction on fuel system components, like fuel injectors and up to a 4.2% fuel economy gain have been experienced!

The best news of all is we have sold and shipped our first orders, and our Sales team is actively having successful conversations with many more of our customers!

Lucas Oil Pit Stop
Lucas Oil is excited to bring the Lucas Oil Pit Stop to Junior Achievement’s JA BizTown during the 2025–2026 school year. In this simulated town, 5th grade students from in and around Indianapolis will take on real-world roles and responsibilities. At the Lucas Oil Pit Stop, students will complete a short activity journey to earn their driver’s license, learning about responsibility and basic vehicle knowledge along the way. Through this hands-on experience, we’re helping students connect life skills with real-world responsibilities in a fun and memorable way.

Learning Lab

In today’s fast-paced world, being right isn’t always the goal—being willing to rethink is. That’s the central message of Think Again by Adam Grant, a bestselling author and organizational psychologist.

Whether you're on the shop floor, leading a team, or making strategic decisions, Grant’s insights apply to all of us. He challenges the idea that confidence means sticking to your guns. Instead, he shows how curiosity, humility, and flexibility can lead to better outcomes—at work and in life.

Grant encourages us to let go of outdated assumptions and be open to new ideas. The best thinkers aren’t always the smartest - they’re the most adaptable.

He also reminds us that when we tie our beliefs to who we are, it’s hard to change—even when the facts say we should. Growth comes from being open to change.

Instead of trying to win debates, Grant suggests asking thoughtful questions. This approach builds trust and opens the door to real understanding - especially useful in team settings.

From the factory floor to the boardroom, Grant advocates for environments where people feel safe to question, learn, and improve. That’s how innovation happens.

For frontline workers, rethinking can help solve problems faster and improve safety and efficiency. For managers, it’s a tool for better coaching, conflict resolution, and team development. For executives, it supports strategic agility and long-term success in a changing market.

Grant writes, “The purpose of learning isn’t to affirm our beliefs; it’s to evolve them.” That’s a powerful reminder for all of us—no matter our role. Let’s keep asking questions, challenging assumptions, and growing together.
