Lucas Oil American Real TV Nitto Tire Team made it out to Formula Drift Vegas event to debut the new Drifting Machine! Living at Road Race Engineering to complete the build in the short time allotted was worth every moment for the team. S-Empire crew made sure to provide a car that is reliable and competitive in the FD Pro Circuit.
It was so rewarding to be back in the game at Formula Drift Championship. All those late nights with the team and everyone’s dedication paid off! It’s always fun hanging out with Brother Tom and Zac Bogner at the track! Thank you for inspiring the team to push hard and do our best!
Our crew chief, Lod Tongkul and lead technician, Art Thavilyati made sure to take the Lucas Oil American Real TV Nitto Tire S13 over to Formula D Tech Inspection. We passed and we were ready for action.
Thursday night practice was a success! We made a couple of adjustments on our Feal Suspension and Power By Max control arms for better handling. The new ACT Clutch felt nice and crisp in the Vegas heat! The new course layout was quite a challenge for many of the drivers. After a couple of runs we were getting the hang of it. Our goal was more speed, angle and tire smoke!
Never a limit on improving the Lucas Oil American Real TV Nitto Tire S13. Lod Tongkul, Art Thavilyati, Sam Chaysavang, Gee Fakthong and Ruben Olague made sure to have the car ready and in tip top shape for Friday Qualifying. Their dedication and passion for the sport is remarkable. Thanks for working so hard team!
We Qualified 12 with a 82 point run. We were so happy to catch up with our fans and friends at the track. We miss them very much! It was good to see everyone.
Here we are having a blast at the autograph session. The heat didn’t stop the fans from waiting in the long time. We enjoy breaking the ice by being a little goofy with kids. Handing out the Lucas Oil Hot Wheels was a hit to the youth, they loved it.

Giving out high fives and knuckles usually helps the kids open up to ask questions. Dream big guys, you can do it! If there is a will there always is a way!
