I bought a 2001 F150 in 2003 with 65,000 miles on it. I bought it at a auction and it looked and ran great. I took it to the Ford dealership to have it serviced within a week of purchasing it and when I went to pick it up it was smoking real bad. The mechinic said I needed a valve job and that they put synthetic oil in it, he said if he was me he would go get another oil change and use Lucas. I did and have never work on the original engine which now has 400,000 miles on it and doesn't smoke or anything.
