Problem Child Takes Aim at Third Consecutive Victory
& Third Straight World Record Upon
It has become an Arizona pre-Thanksgiving tradition. Owner Eddie Knox, driver Daryl Ehrlich and top fuel drag boat Problem Child visit Firebird Lake for the NAPA Auto Parts Lucas Oil World Finals and end up blowing both the competition and the record books out of the water.
Over the past two years, Ehrlich has piloted Problem Child to victory, and has rewritten the Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series record books in the process, making an impact on drag boat racing’s premier event. Meanwhile, competitors in other classes have waged their own battles on the record books – Top Alcohol Hydro boat What a Tomato Too also established a new record last November, with several competitors in hot pursuit.
