The Lucas Oil Pro Pulling League concluded the 2010 season in Wheatland, MO. at the Canidae Pro Pulling Nationals. Lucas Oil Speedway played host to a packed house full of energized fans.

Dan Robinson, General Manager of the Speedway, stated that nearly 5,000 fans showed up despite a heavy dose of bad weather which dropped around 6” of rain. “We were out near capacity levels, maxed out our concession stands and even had Forrest and Charlotte Lucas cooking in the kitchen. The fans packed in here to check out the thrills of Lucas Oil Pro Pulling and really enjoyed themselves. This is shaping up to be the best PPL event all year.”

Rockstar Pro Pulling Bill Leischner DirtSliner Tractor Multi-time Champion Bill Leischner, driver of the Rockstar Energy Super Modified Tractor “DirtSlinger”, brought 30 years of experience to the table this season. “This year we won a lot of races and I’ll tell you what, it had a lot to do with Rockstar coming on board with my program.” Leischner reported before his last pull. “The support we have received from Rockstar this year has been the most positive factor in all my years of racing. The whole team is charged up and you can just feel the energy. Everyone is going the extra mile to do their part. I think we are ready to win this championship for Rockstar.”

Bill Leischner’s entire program is branded with Rockstar Energy everywhere you look. The pits, crew uniforms and the transporters, his fire suit and helmet, even his son Shannon Leischner driver of the Dirt Challanger, a competing Super Modified Tractor is sporting Rockstar on his race vehicle and helmet.

The fans are getting into it as well. Ever since Bill’s colors went to black and gold, you can see the fan appeal has grown tremendously in favor of Leischner. You can hear the crowd come alive when the Rockstar DirtSlinger rolls out onto the track. The fans energy spreads and Rockstar’s heavy brand presence in the pits, on the track, on TV and everywhere else significantly impacts each and every event no matter where Bill Leischner and Lucas Oil’s Pro Pulling League go.

Rockstar Pro Pulling Bill Leischner DirtSliner Tractor Bill Leischner clinched the 2010 Lucas Oil Pro Pulling League Championship this last weekend, September 11th, with an exciting conclusion “Pull Off” to end the big night finale. The Crowd went wild when the new champion out pulled the best of the best for 312.12 feet.

“The DirtSlinger has been the crowd favorite before, but this year it may have had more to do with all the sampling Rockstar did at the events.” explained Pro Pulling Race Director, John Mears “I know for a fact there are a lot of new Rockstar Energy fans and customers out here tonight. Bill won the championship fair and square, but I think the fans have a new hero for a different reason.”

Leischner always works hard to represent the sponsors. Determined and motivated, Bill devoted time with Rockstar’s Regional Representatives and on many occasions took the lead and initiative, setting up his own vehicle displays and sampling through his own people and resources.
