Sunoco® Race Fuels Race for Gas Program to Award Earl Pearson Jr. and Dale McDowell at Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series Banquet
CORONA CALIFORNIA (Thursday, November 19, 2009) - As one of the special contingency awards on the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series, Sunoco Race Fuels the "Official Fuel" of the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series will pay cash awards to Earl Pearson Jr. and Dale McDowell at the series year end banquet on November 21st at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, IN.
By virtue of earning the most combined Sunoco points at each series event in 2009, Earl Pearson Jr. beat out Dale McDowell for the $3,000 first place cash award. Dale McDowell will receive a $1,000 cash award from Sunoco for finishing second in the Sunoco Race for Gas Program. The Sunoco Race for Gas Program awarded points at each event to drivers that use Sunoco Race Fuel in their racecars.
Sunoco Race Fuels is also the title sponsor of the Sunoco Road to Wheatland Program, and the title sponsor of the Sunoco Race Fuels North/South 100 at Florence Speedway in Union KY sanctioned by the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series.
