Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. Becomes the WBC Youth Welterweight Champion
Lucas Oil Products congratulates Julio Cesar Chavez Jr., for his victory over Jermaine White last Saturday August 19th in El Paso, Texas, becoming the WBC (World Boxing Council) Youth Welterweight Champion.
Through a series of left hooks to the body and a finishing hook to the head, Chavez Jr. sent White to the canvas on one knee. White absorbed great punishment as he stood up from the knockdown he told referee Sam Garza he wanted no more, forcing him to stop the fight at 1:52 of the 4th round, giving young Chavez Jr. his first boxing title.
