Lance Markell uses Lucas Heavy Duty Oil Stabilizer in 88 Mustang GT convertible
I have an 88GT with 7,000 original miles. I thought it would be to my advantage to change the oil and use Mobil1 synthetic. Unfortunately, the car started to leak oil due to the cleaning properties of synthetic. However, I didn't appreciate the oil leak so I changed back to dino oil (regular oil) and added 1 quart of the Lucas oil stabilizer along with 1.5 oz of brake fluid and the leaks have been significantly reduced. I think that they will stop when I drive the car in the spring. I will add it to my Saturn at the next oil change.
