Dr. Jess R. Drezner uses Lucas Transmission Fix in 1996 VW Passat
My daughter's 1996 VW Passat with an automatic transmission started slipping each morning as she would pull out of the driveway. The tranny would only slip from a dead stop into first. As soon as the car would warm up, this slipping would stop. Upshifting was never a problem -hot or cold. The tranny only slipped from a dead stop. Using a long necked funnel, I added your product into the overfill valve. When I started the car up the next morning and drove it there was NO SLIPPING from a dead stop.
