Chris Dalton Wins Three Consecutive ATV Events at Tulare Cycle Park

Despite running a limited 2003 racing schedule, Lucas Oil sponsored ATV-rider Chris Dalton dominated the competition by earning three consecutive victories at Tulare Cycle Park in the Sportsman 250 TT class.

Due to scheduling conflicts with Jason Patison’s Lucas Oil Chevy super late model team where Dalton holds the position of crew chief, the Lucas Oil rider competed in five of twelve events at the Tulare Cycle Park and posted one runner-up finish and three victories (July 26, Aug. 2, Aug, 16).

Dalton contributes his success to Lucas Oil products as well as the addition of a Curtis Sparks racing engine to his Honda Four-Trax 265. The combination of superior products and a new engine, Dalton qualified first or second for each event with an average qualifying lap time of 37.9-seconds and maintained consistent race lap times in the low 38-second range.

“I am very pleased with the high quality of Lucas Semi-Synthetic Two-Cycle Racing Oil,” said Dalton regarding his use of Lucas Oil products in his 48 horsepower four-wheel race machine. “This product does an excellent job of lubricating my engine and providing unparalleled protection allowing for higher RPM’s.”

With most ATV-riders having to rebuild their engines every two or three races, Dalton explained that by using Lucas Oil products he was able to compete on the same engine for five races with the same high performance of a fresh motor.

Dalton’s plans for the reminder of the 2003 season include events at the Hanford Fairgrounds in Hanford, Calif. as well as events in Santa Maria, Calif. followed by a full racing schedule in 2004.
