Hector Arana Makes a Triumphant Return to NHRA
Long time Lucas racer Hector Arana made a triumphant return to the NHRA Pro-Stock Motorcycle division. After an extended hiatus, Hector showed up at the AC Delco Gatornationals to attempt to qualify for the extremely competitive field. After running strong he was finally bumped on the final day of qualifying. Hector did not give though, and his perseverance paid off. At the Summit Racing Southern Nationals Hector showed everyone that he was back! Hector qualified in the 7th position with a time of 7.061 at over 188 mph. Although eliminated in the first round Hector showed that he once again has what it takes to compete with the best. We look forward to great things from Hector Arana and his Lucas Oil team during their 2007 NHRA campaign!
