 | Mike Bishop uses Lucas Transmission Fix
I have a 1994 Ford Ranger with a V6 4.0 Liter engine. My transmission was knocking hard when I went up to 55 mph, then let off the gas, and then gave it the gas again. This was usually in heavy traffic. I figured it was used up, since the truck had 175000 miles on it. I tried Slick 50 for about 10000 miles and had the same problem with no noticeable change. Two transmission shops told me I needed a new or rebuilt transmission, the price was going to be 2500 for new + labor, and 600 + labor for a rebuilt. I decided it was worth trying Lucas before I changed it because one of my friends told me about it. Within 50 miles it was acting much better, and at @ 100 miles it was shifting like new. I figured it was a temporary fix, and might get me to 200000 miles. I now have greater than 282000 miles on the truck, and I use Lucas products in all my vehicles, and tell everyone what great products they are. I'm now shooting for 300000 miles plus!

I own a 2002 Nissan Frontier "Desert Runner", 5 speed, 6 cyl., 2WD, currently at 97K miles. EPA estimates on vehicle: City = 15 MPG, Highway = 17 MPG I track my gas mileage on the computer every fill-up and burn 87 octane gasoline from Texaco, Valero, or Shell. Started using 3-4 oz. of Lucas Fuel Treatment every fill-up in January 2008 with ~86K mile on the odometer, and at that time was averaging 17.2 mpg. As of July of 2008, I am averaging 20.3 MPG on the same vehicle, same driving habits and trip, and with ~97K miles on the truck. This, for me, is a "trip and a half" to my work (about 45 miles) for free each tank full, based upon gas usage prior to the Lucas.

I recently bought my F-250. It had 260,000 km on it. The engine idled a bit roughly at stoplights when warm, was otherwise fine. I changed the fuel filter with little effect. I then tried several other "Fuel System" products, including the cleaner/anti gel I normally run in my Volvo Semi Truck in winter. There was a bit of improvement but I wasn't happy and thought I needed a new injector. Last week I bought a gallon of your product on sale at a truck stop in Washington State. I put half in my Tractor's tanks, and then filled the bottle again with diesel fuel. I poured this 50/50 mix into the tanks of my Ford, and by the time I'd driven 60 miles, it idled smoothly and cleanly. I've fueled the pickup several times since then, adding your product only every second fill and it still runs smoothly. I normally never write testimonials, but you saved me a lot of money and grief

Panic! occured when my check engine light came on, go a reading on my car which stated my Throttle in my car was dirty, 1)mecahanic told me the whole gas tank would have to be cleaned out ??? another said he'd have to check to see what's wrong (I already knew) and another told me I would have to replace the whole Throttle. But the last mechanic said I could do a treatment myself and the man in AutoZone directed me to what he said was "The Best" on the shelf. Needless to say soon as I gave Henry (that's my car's name) his gas treatment the light cut off no sooner than the gas started flowing. Me being a woman not knowing much about cars learned to shop around but now I know about this great line of products to which I will live by for the life of my car. THANK YOU LUCAS OIL

Well I'll be dipped in mud! Your product works like a charm. 136000 miles and the trans started to slip. I thought I was looking at a two to three thousand repair job or replacement. I want to keep the truck because everything else is in such good shape. What did I have to loose except a few bucks anyway? I removed an equal amount of exsisting trans-fluid and replaced it with your magic elixer and BAM!!! less than a mile down the road when I did a road test the problem was solved. Today I gave the truck a real workout and it actually runs better than it has in the past year. Great product guys...maybe your not charging enough for it, you saved me a few grand. Thanks. Keep up the good work.

I was recently at the NHRA Powerade /TORCO Nationals in Joliet IL. We were sitting near the 1/4 mile mark when I noticed part of the LUCAS Crew nearby. I could'nt walk away without telling them about my Isuzu-Resurrection project. I was talking with "Terry" about the Trooper I bought 2 years ago. 1998 Trooper with 155,000 miles. The quy I bought it from said, "It will go a long way, but you have to watch the oil." I come to find that really all Troopers "use oil" "You will go through one quart every 500 miles, so just check it, and fill it."
