 | K&N FILTERS WINTERNATIONALS RESCHEDULED FOR FEB. 27-29
Persistent rain showers and an unfavorable weather forecast for the remainder of the weekend in Southern California forced NHRA officials to postpone the K&N Filters Winternationals Saturday at Pomona Raceway. The $2 million race, the first of 23 events in the $50 million NHRA POWERade Drag Racing Series for 2004, has been rescheduled for next weekend, Feb. 27-29.

 | Morgan Lucas Finishes 2003 Season in the Winners Circle
Morgan Lucas, driver of the Lucas Oil Top Alcohol Dragster, took home his sixth win of the 2003 Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series season at the Auto Club of Southern California NHRA Finals contested at Pomona Raceway. In his last race behind the wheel of the Jerry Darien and Ken Meadows-owned dragster, Lucas posted the second quickest elapsed time of the weekend with a 5.292-second pass during a solo pass in the final round.

 | Morgan Lucas Earns Third Consecutive National Event Title
Morgan Lucas drove his Lucas Oil-sponsored Top Alcohol Dragster to his third consecutive national event win at the 18th annual OReilly Fall Nationals at Texas Motorplex. Lucas was coming off back-to-back victories at the Mac Tools U.S. Nationals and the Carquest Auto Parts Nationals, as well as claiming the Jegs Allstars title at Route 66 Raceway.

 | Carl Renezeder Earns First Pro-4 National Championship
Carl Renezeders latest accomplishment has been a long time coming. For the past five years that Renezeder has been competing in the Lucas Oil Championship Off Road Racing Series, he has pushed himself, his team and his race trucks to the extreme striving for a national championship. The Lucas Oil-sponsored driver finally achieved his goal by clinching the 2003 Pro-4 National Championship title during Round 14 at Unadilla Valley Sports Center in New Berlin, New York.
Prior to the season finale, there were 22 points separating the top four drivers in Pro-4. The drivers and teams were full of anticipation as the championship would be decided in the final two rounds of competition. During Round 13 on Saturday, Renezeder finished behind winner Johnny Greaves after the top four trucks suffered a pile-up on the second turn of lap six. Renezeder recovered from the accident to finish second and increased his points lead by 10.

 | Morgan Lucas Victorious at 49th annual Mac Tools U.S. Nationals; Moves into Second in National Point
Morgan Lucas drove his Lucas Oil Top Alcohol Dragster to his first career Mac Tools U.S. Nationals victory at Indianapolis Raceway Park. With this win, Lucas moves into second place in the national points standings.
This is the biggest race of the year and we won the title, said young nineteen-year-old Lucas. Winning this race is every drivers dream and we were able to win this from the pole position which makes it that much sweeter.

 | Carl Renezeder Wins 2003 BorgWarner Shootout
Carl Renezeder and the Lucas Oil off-road team had a weekend at Crandon International Raceway that most drivers in the CORR Lucas Oil Off Road Series dream about. Renezeder started the weekend by increasing his championship points lead in the Pro-4 class followed by taking the checkered flag in the $100,000 World Championship BorgWarner Shootout.

 | Chris Dalton Wins Three Consecutive ATV Events at Tulare Cycle Park
Despite running a limited 2003 racing schedule, Lucas Oil sponsored ATV-rider Chris Dalton dominated the competition by earning three consecutive victories at Tulare Cycle Park in the Sportsman 250 TT class.
