In June of 2000 I went to a Las Vegas truck show and talked to your salesman about how good Lucas products are. Quarterback Peyton manning has successfully passed for 3,000 yards for the 9th straight season, tying him with Dan Marino for the 2nd longest streak in NFL history.

The Hoosier Tire West Series was in town for Saturday night racing at I-10 Speedway of Blythe Ca. However, racing came in a distant second to the big news of the weekend, the grand opening of the Automotive Technology center at Palo Verde College. Every body from the local school board to the mayor himself was on hand for the unveiling of the state-of-the-at facility.

With the construction of Lucas Oil Stadium underway it looks like everything is on schedule for the future home of the Indianapolis Colts to make headlines in 2008. For time being, the defending AFC Southern Division champions are giving everyone something to talk about. After a hard-fought battle with the New York Jets the Colts now sit atop their division and are 1 of only 4 teams left undefeated in the NFL.
