The Lucas Oil Modified Series, presented by Rockstar Energy Drink, will officially launch its brand new 2010 season Saturday night, March 27th, at the Lucas Oil I 10 Speedway in Blythe-California. It's the first of a nine race series that will take the modified teams to five different venues in three different states.

Known to fans near and far as one of the raciest speed-plants in Ohio, Portsmouth Raceway Park has become a fixture on the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series National Tour. The event originally scheduled as a one-day $10,000 to win 50 lap race, will now become the two-day Pepsi 75, paying $20,000 to win for the 75 lap main event.
