 | PSCA 2012 Season Kicks Off Feb 17-19 at The Strip
The Pacific Street Car Association Presented by Chris Alston's Chassisworks announced the full schedule for its 2012 racing season Monday. The PSCA's 13th season will kick off Feb. 17-19 at The Strip at Las Vegas Motor Speedway and wrap up Nov. 2-4 at Auto Club Dragway in Fontana, Calif.
The PSCA, featuring seven heads up classes, four bracket classes, and three index classes, are headlined by Pro Street, a low six-second door slammer class with cars rocketing down the quarter mile at 245 mph.

The 2012 racing season kicked off Sunday with Joey Pascarella, Benny Solis, Jr. and Steve Rapp each winning multiple races during the WERA West Presented by Lucas Oil Sportsman Series event at Auto Club Speedway, in Fontana, California. The event was held in very windy conditions, but in spite of the challenging conditions the event drew a 15% larger group of racers than in 2011

 | Lucas Oil becomes Official Automotive Oil & Additive of the PBR
The Professional Bull Riders announced that they have extended their partnership with Lucas Oil to be the “Exclusive Automobile Motor Oil/Additive, Fuel Treatment, and Lubricant Manufacturer” of the PBR.
In addition to its involvement with the nationally-televised Built Ford Tough Series, Lucas Oil will be the title sponsor for a series of Touring Pro Division events, which is the developmental tour of the PBR. Lucas Oil will also provide a series of exclusive discount services for PBR riders and stock contractors.

Cole Seely wasn't on many people's radar coming into last weekend's opening round of the AMA supercross series. Many forgot that he won two rounds last year and had scored a second place finish in 2010. His progression has been steady so it shouldn't have come as a shock when Seely blew past most of the class favorites in the opening laps of Saturday night's main event and opened up a comfortable lead en route to the checkers.

Chili Bowl rookie contender Jake Swanson of Anaheim, CA is one of the West Coast’s most popular and rising stars in Midget racing. 19-year-old Jake will be competing in his biggest race ever, competing against approximately 250 racers from across the country and around the World when he competes in the 26th Annual Chili Bowl Midget Nationals on January 10-14 at the Tulsa Exposition Center’s QuickTrip Center. Swanson will be competing against such racing stars as reigning and three-time NASCAR Sprint Cup champion Tony Stewart and reigning NASCAR Nationwide Series champion Ricky Stenhouse, Jr. on the 1/5-mile dirt oval.

Nine-year pro Brandon Bernstein has been selected to drive the MavTV/Lucas Oil Top Fuel dragster for Morgan Lucas Racing in 2012 and beyond. Bernstein's dragster, the same one driven by Shawn Langdon the last three years, will be tuned by longtime MLR crew members Joe Barlam and John DeFilippis.

 | 2012 Lucas Oil AMA Pro Motocross Championship Schedule Released
Alli Sports, are pleased to announce the 2012 schedule for the Lucas Oil AMA Pro Motocross Championship. The series will begin on Saturday, May 19, near Sacramento, Calif., at the Hangtown Classic - the longest-running event on the schedule - and will conclude on September 8 in Southern California, at the championship's newest stop (to be announced at a later date). Throughout the summer, the 12-round series will visit such highly-regarded motocross circuits as High Point, in Pennsylvania, RedBud, in Michigan, Washougal, in Washington, and New York's legendary Unadilla.
